Last night (or this morning, actually. More on this in the next post…), I dreamt of playing baseball. I may have been in HS, playing in P.E. class, and was having a lot of fun. This is unusual, because I normally abhorred P.E., especially during this period of my life. In any case, I was the batter, and I was swinging a huge 38in/38oz aluminum bat that I used to have. I was hitting homeruns!

I looked up a few key terms in the dream dictionary, and it appears that this dream generally seems to be related to the attainment of goals. For instance, a bat (one of the foci of the dream) “relates to the condition and quality of one’s progression”. Similarly, a homerun can indicate attainment. Perhaps this is all related to the fact that I was up into the wee hours making very good progress on a program that simulates segregation in social situations…
