Last night I dreamt I was teaching stats… the class was going OK, and then my former advisor M came into the room, and was very upset about a student who needed to get into my class. She said that she needed a lot of help, but it was understandable, because she herself had been in that position previously. After some thought, I agreed. The room was very dark, and and girl seemed angry, or agitated somehow… M said the girl was just like she was when she was younger.
I’m not really sure what the significance of this dream could be. Perhaps it is one indication of the fact that M is pleased with the outcome of my time in grad school? In the dream, she did seem to have a lot of respect for my teaching abilities…
