Dream: WrestleMania

In the second dream, I was at WrestleMania III, watching the Andre the Giant vs. Hulk Hogan match. Strangely, Hogan wanted to run away, but a fan from the audience kept him in the ring, and also kept Andre from getting reinforcements. The fan said, “Get in a fight or something. Don’t play in a party, have a tete a tete”. Then, the match continued…

I did watch this match several weeks ago, on a whim, as a trip down memory lane so to speak. It had been years since I had seen it. When I was younger I really liked watching the WWF, as it was then called, and I was interested in getting in touch with my younger self. I followed wrestling from about Wrestlemania III through VII. After that, well, I grew up I suppose. But, I always thought of it as a kind of circus. It is sad to hear about all of the athletes dying due to steroid abuse recently. Athletes in all sports should take notice. I should also mention that I have no idea what sort of symbology is at work in this dream…
