Temple Experience: Mo’okini Heiau
On the northern tip of the Big Island of Hawaii is an ancient temple (”Mo’okini Heiau”) that legend states was either built or sanctified by the shadowy figure “Pa’ao”, in order to bring a new order to the Islands, including the installation of the chiefly class. A number of practices were included in these changes; among them, mass human sacrifices that took place at the Mo’okini Heiau. I visited the Mo’okini Heiau and the area around it this afternoon, and this was accompanied by strong increases in energy. While I was there, I felt somehow unified with a higher way of being and thinking. I seemed to become more conscious of my body, especially the bones of my spine, head, and also my teeth. Interestingly, although others have often reported feeling sick or threatened by the area, I left the area extremely empowered, feeling good.
I have never quite had an experience like this before, and was wondering what thoughts or reactions others might have of it….

Wow, I’m going to have to check that out. I’ve not heard of it before and I love going up to that area, just beautiful.
One time we went to Umi’s temple, smack dab in the center of the island precisely located at the point between the three sisters, Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa and Hualalai. Had to go four wheeling to get there (and had to have permission from Bishop estates), not even dirt roads out there, just…beautiful scenery, and then suddenly these ruins. Had the same experience with intense energy there.
Some people do believe this island is energetically important, being at 19.47 (19.5) degrees latitude, which would place it at one of the tetrahedral points of the globe (search ‘hyperdimensional physics’, Richard Hoagland or Nassim Haramein’s work here on the island. Fascinating if not very bizarre.

Hi Angela–I’ve never heard of Umi’s temple before… I would love to visit there at some point; how did you obtain permission? Also, have you heard of the system of ancient pathways that connects the Heiaus and that are supposed to be traversed by dream warriors? Just wondering…
Also, I have heard of the significance of this latitude, when I was reading Maya Cosmogenesis 2012. I’ll have to read up on the works that you mentioned though. Quite interesting!
