Dream: WWII invasion???
I dreamt I was watching some sort of military attack–like a WWII style beach operation. It seemed to be USA vs. USSR, with the Soviets the aggressor. I saw a huge plane/space shuttle(?) flying low over the water, and I knew that ‘we’ would win when a rocket fired from nearby (by me???) clipped the wing of the mighty vehicle, causing it to go down. The ship was huge, and I knew it was the key to the whole operation. The fighting wasn’t over, however, and I was suddenly struggling underwater, and saw another soldier grasp the American (or was it British?) flag from nearby.

Perhaps labels and nationalities matter less than the underlying motivation that provokes conflict. You decide what ultimately has meaning or not and why you choose share your dreams.

Well, in the context here, I was neither condoning nor condemning it; I was caught up in the moment, absorbing the sights and sounds of the spectacle. Nationalities certainly weren’t salient in the particular dream–it was the struggle that was important…
