Dream: Strange Fruit
Last night I dreamt I was jogging in my backyard (it was huge!) along the outer fence. Just on the other side of the fence was the neighbor’s yard, and his had a series of trees that would hang over. The trees had very strange flowers/blooms/fruit growing on them that would hang down like lemons or limes. I seemed to think they were flowers. The neighbor was very upset because he thought the flowers should be a different shape than they were, and seemed to blame me!

These pitcher plants are the closest thing I could find in terms of the appearance of the fruit. However, in the dream they did not have any dangerous quality…

Maybe you were thinking of those bad mangoes we had last night? We both seemed to think that they would have a more pleasing taste than they actually did…

Well, supposedly an upset stomach is supposed to stimulate dream memory and content! …which I actually think makes sense, as internal discomfort could increase awareness, where otherwise any dream content might pass unnoticed…
