Dream: Outlaw in the bush!
Last night I dreamt I was some sort of outlaw being chased (or chasing an outlaw group???) through the forest or backwoods. I was not the leader but I did have an important role in our group of 10 or so. We hid in a barn to avoid gunshots, and the leader even laughed at the other group, but when we realized they were going to use gas to get us out of the barn, we knew we had to make a run for it. I helped kick open a loose panel in the back, and we sprinted across the field for the tree cover. This field reminded me of the empty lot behind the house here…

The dream dictionary states that forests can be “representative of one’s individualized attitudes in relation to natural talents. May also refer to how one utilizes corporal deeds”. It may also symbolize “an attitude of mystery behind spiritual gifts”. In any case, I hope that the pursuit of self-awareness will not make me an outlaw!

Maybe you were an outlaw for having views that conflict with your scientific career? Alternatively, maybe you were an outlaw being chased by me for your weird enlightenment ways?

Hmmm… Well, a potential conflict with orthodox science could be a possibility! …you were not in this dream, however, so I don’t think your latter remark applies, fortunately.
